
Myresjöhus: sale and leaseback of owner-occupied property portfolio.
In November 2005, Leimdörfer advised Myresjöhus/Industri Kapital in a sale and leaseback-transaction, which included 2 logistics and warehouse properties in Vetlanda and Sävsjö respectively. The total leaseable area amounted to 72,000 m². Myresjöhus produces and markets two brands of pre-fabricated small self-contained houses:
Myresjöhus and SmålandsVillan.
Myresjöhus signed a 15-year lease agreement for the properties. The transaction received large interest from both Nordic and international investors.
An important part of the sales process was to describe the tenant and its current market situation.
The properties were purchased by Swedish publicly traded property company Sagax for SEK 310 million.
